Pulley Overhaul and Refurbishment

TS Global provides pulley overhaul and refurbishment services to restore worn or damaged pulleys to a reliable operating condition while extending asset life and reducing the cost of full replacement. Each refurbishment scope is developed based on inspection findings, operating duty, failure history and customer requirements.

Refurbishment activities may include component replacement, precision machining, repair welding, shaft reclamation or replacement, shell replacement, lagging removal and renewal, dynamic balancing and final verification including test run. Where required, dimensional corrections, fit-up improvements and alignment checks are also undertaken to ensure the pulley is returned to service fit for duty.

All refurbishment work is supported by TS Global’s in-house engineering capability and controlled quality processes, ensuring repairs are completed in accordance with proven procedures, relevant standards and site requirements.

Throughout the refurbishment process, consideration is also given to improving future reliability. This may include upgraded materials, revised lagging systems, enhanced sealing arrangements or design modifications to address identified failure modes and extend service intervals.

By combining practical workshop expertise with engineering oversight and quality assurance, TS Global ensures refurbished pulleys are returned to service with improved performance consistency, reduced risk of premature failure and increased confidence in ongoing operation.
