Pulley Dynamic Certified Run Testing

TS Global's Dynamic Certified Run Testing service provides independent verification that a pulley has been assembled, balanced and manufactured to perform as intended before being returned to service.

As part of the testing process, the pulley is subjected to a controlled 4-hour dynamic run test using predetermined belt tensions to apply a consistent radial load to the shaft, bearings and shell assembly. This allows pulley performance to be assessed under controlled operating conditions while verifying rotational stability, balance, alignment and overall assembly integrity.

The extended test duration enables the rotating assembly to stabilise and provides sufficient time for potential issues such as abnormal vibration, imbalance or assembly-related defects to be identified prior to installation. Detecting and addressing these issues before dispatch reduces commissioning risk and improves operational reliability once the pulley is returned to service.

Bearing noise and vibration analysis is conducted and certified by an SKF technician as part of every test. This independent assessment verifies bearing condition and performance while identifying potential defects, misalignment or assembly issues that may affect long-term reliability.

Upon completion, customers receive documented test results providing confidence that the pulley has successfully completed dynamic verification and is ready for dependable operation. This additional level of quality assurance is particularly valuable for critical conveyor applications where reliability and availability are essential.

By combining controlled loading, extended run duration and certified bearing analysis, TS Global delivers a comprehensive testing process that supports improved reliability, reduced commissioning risk and greater confidence in pulley performance.
