Secondary Cleaning for Sticky Material Applications 

The U Belt Cleaner is designed to be used as either a seondary or tertiary belt cleaner. Its function is to remove fine residue left behind after primary cleaning, improving conveyor cleanliness and reducing carryback in mining and bulk materials-handling applications. Secondary and tertiary cleaners work in conjunction with primary cleaners to deliver a more complete and effective belt cleaning system. 

Featuring a single curved U-shaped blade, the cleaner applies consistent pressure through the centre of the belt, making it particularly effective in applications with sticky or cohesive materials. Its robust construction reduces vibration and supports reliable, long-term performance.

The addition of water to the secondary cleaner can improve performance and can remove up to 98% of residual fines, with recovered material returned to the product flow to help maximise material recovery.
 
Manufactured with a high-grade stainless steel structure and supplied with bolt-on tungsten tips, the cleaner is designed for durability and long service life. Components are interchangeable with most major brands, helping to reduce replacement costs where required
