Secondary Cleaning Performance

The TUFF Line Secondary Belt Cleaner range is designed to remove fine residual material that remains on the conveyor belt after primary cleaning, supporting improved belt cleanliness and reduced carryback in mining and bulk materials-handling applications.

While the TUFF Line can be used as an individual cleaner, optimal results are achieved when it is installed as part of a complete belt cleaning system.

Installed after a primary belt cleaner, the TUFF Line performs secondary cleaning by targeting fine residue left on the belt surface following initial cleaning. This additional cleaning stage helps minimise material build-up on the return side of the conveyor and supports improved housekeeping and operational efficiency.

Removed material is retained within the chute and returned to the product stream, helping reduce material loss and environmental impact.

Configurable Cleaning with Optional Water Spray

The TUFF Line can be configured with or without water sprays, allowing the cleaner to be tailored to suit different material characteristics and operating conditions. Where fitted, water sprays assist the cleaning process by helping loosen fine material and improve blade effectiveness, while also supporting reduced wear on conveyor components.
