Return Belt Protection and Material Control

The TUFF Vee Conveyor Belt Plough is designed to protect conveyor pulleys and belts by removing displaced material from the return side of the conveyor belt before it enters the pulley.

By preventing material build-up on pulleys and return components, the TUFF Vee helps extend equipment life, improve belt tracking, and reduce unplanned maintenance in mining and bulk materials-handling environments.

Material carried back on the return belt can accumulate on pulleys, leading to belt misalignment, accelerated wear, and damage to conveyor components. The TUFF Vee plough is positioned on the return side of the belt to divert this displaced material away from the belt path before it reaches the pulley.

This proactive removal of material helps maintain cleaner pulleys and more stable belt tracking, supporting reliable conveyor operation.
