Return Belt Cleaning and Asset Protection

The TUFF Diagonal Conveyor Belt Plough is designed to protect conveyor belts and pulleys by removing displaced material from the return side of the conveyor belt before it enters the pulley.

By diverting material away from the belt path, the TUFF Diagonal plough helps reduce build-up on pulleys, improve belt tracking, and extend the service life of critical conveyor components in mining and bulk materials-handling environments.

Material carried back on the return belt can accumulate on pulleys and structures, leading to belt misalignment, accelerated wear, and increased maintenance. The TUFF Diagonal plough is positioned on the return side of the belt to redirect this material away from the belt before it reaches the pulley.

This controlled removal of displaced material supports cleaner pulleys, more stable belt tracking, and improved conveyor reliability.

The diagonal plough configuration is suited to applications where material needs to be diverted to one side of the conveyor structure. This arrangement allows material to be removed efficiently while maintaining effective contact with the return belt.
