Pulley Re-Lagging (Polyurethane and Rubber)

TS Global provides pulley re-lagging services using both rubber and polyurethane lagging systems, helping restore traction, protect pulley shells and conveyor belt, while maintaining reliable conveyor performance. Lagging selection is based on operating conditions, duty requirements and wear characteristics to ensure the most appropriate selection for each application.

Rubber & Ceramic Lagging

Available options include:

  • Diamond Grooved (Natural or FRAS) – 7.5 mm to 30 mm
  • Smooth (Natural or FRAS) – 7.5 mm to 30 mm
  • Medium Ceramic (Rubber Backing) – 12 mm, 15 mm and 20 mm
  • Full Ceramic (Rubber Backing) – 12 mm, 15 mm and 20 mm
  • 5-Side Bond Full Ceramic – 12 mm, 15 mm and 20 mm

Rubber lagging provides a versatile and cost-effective solution for a wide range of conveyor applications. It delivers reliable traction while protecting pulley shells from wear, corrosion and impact damage. Grooved profiles improve water dispersion and help maintain belt contact in wet operating conditions.

For more demanding applications, ceramic lagging options provide increased traction and wear resistance, making them well suited to high-load, wet or contaminated environments. Enhanced grip and reduced slippage contribute to improved drive performance and extended service life, particularly on critical drive pulleys.

Polyurethane Strip Lagging

Available options include:

  • 91 Shore A hardness Diamond Grooved
  • 91 Shore A Smooth

Polyurethane strip lagging offers excellent abrasion resistance in high-wear non-drive applications. Its combination of durability and flexibility makes it suitable for operating environments where extended service life and reduced maintenance requirements are important.

All re-lagging work is completed using controlled surface preparation, bonding and quality assurance processes to ensure optimal adhesion, long-term reliability and consistent field performance.

Polyurethane Hot Cast Lagging

Available options include:

  • 91 Shore A hardness Diamond Grooved or Herringbone
  • 91 Shore A Smooth
  • Available in FRAS compound

Polyurethane hot cast lagging offers excellent abrasion resistance in high-wear non-drive applications. Its combination of durability and flexibility makes it suitable for operating environments where extended service life and reduced maintenance requirements are important. FRAS options are also available to meet site-specific safety requirements.

All re-lagging work is completed using controlled surface preparation, bonding and quality assurance processes to ensure optimal adhesion, long-term reliability and consistent field performance.
